CPIM brings together researchers working across integrated circuits, electromagnetics, packaging, embedded systems, and intelligent sensing.
Principal Investigator
Mike Nguyen, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor
Electrical and Computer Engineering
University of Nevada, Las Vegas
Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering
The University of Tokyo, 2011
IEEE Senior Member
Dr. Mike Nguyen’s research focuses on analog, mixed-signal, RF/mm-wave/THz integrated circuits; on-chip, on-package, and on-glass antennas; heterogeneous integration; and intelligent sensing systems. Before joining UNLV, he held academic positions at San José State University and the University of Tokyo and worked in analog and mixed-signal IC development at Marvell Technology.
His work has included CMOS pulse transceivers with integrated antenna arrays, 140-GHz circuits, near-field magnetic probes, mm-wave/THz sensing, and AIoT systems for food safety and aquaculture.
